What is the role:

We are seeking a Partnerships Development Manager to grow our footprint amongst the B2B ecosystem. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter to create awareness and spark interest amongst potential partners, including some of the largest and most respected agencies, system integrators and consultancies worldwide. Your day-to-day will largely consist of outbound outreach and crafting the strategy behind it. Additionally, you will have oversight on our inbound partner requests, and have responsibility to qualify those proposals.

In this role, you will have an outsized impact on Balances’ revenue by developing new partnerships and identifying the right client opportunities they can bring to Balance. As a member of the team, you will learn how to evangelize the Balance value proposition and should intend to have an incredible impact on the company’s growth trajectory over the coming years. 


  • Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in a Sales Development/Business Development role
  • Taking a Data-driven approach to build effective outreach cadences 
  • Talking with so many external personas, you must be strong at tailoring the conversation and pitch each and every time
  • Constantly thinking outside of the box to identify new segments of partners that could benefit from the Balance platform
  • Results-focused. Comfortable with the pressure of working towards monthly/quarterly KPIs
  • Motivated & hugely driven to succeed, and grow in a career in business development
  • Passionate about partnerships, business development and FinTech
  • Native English speaker
  • US hours required, 2-3 days per week
