DESCRIPTION

As a Fraud and Credit researcher, you will be responsible for helping Balance improve the Fraud prevention and Credit Underwriting capabilities day in day out.

Making good, quick decisions on suspicious transactions and users isn’t easy, but companies who are able to fine tune and constantly improve their decision making, have a great starting point to succeed in this space.

This is where you come in, you will be analyzing suspicious activity of all sorts, using several systems, social media, SQL and dashboards to gather all the information you need.

You would need to be highly independent, work fast with minimal guidance, and make decisions sensibly.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2nd/3rd year students with at least 50% availability.
  • Strong ability to self source data through open source or existing company data
  • Experience in the Fraud/Credit domain - Advantage
  • Knowledge of SQL - Advantage
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau/Looker) - Advantage
  • Experience in the Fin-tech domain - Advantage
