What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a fusion of Traditional Chinese healing wisdom and modern Western research and techniques.
Below is the British Parliament Definition of Kinesiology.
"Kinesiology (kin-easy-ology), literally the study of body movement, encompasses holistic health disciplines which use gentle muscle testing to monitor information about a person's well-being.
It originated in the 1960's combining Western techniques and eastern wisdoms to promote physical, emotional and spiritual health.
Kinesiology identifies factors which block the body's natural healing processes. These dysfunctions are rectified by attention to reflex and acupressure points, the use of specific body movements and nutritional support.
Kinesiology can relieve pain, stress, muscular and nervous disorders, detect allergies and nutritional deficiencies, assist with psychological and learning problems, stimulate energies and release untapped potential."
What is Reiki?
Regeneration and healing by hands is an ancient tradition and is available using the technique called Reiki. Reiki is compatible with other belief systems.
When you receive Reiki you experience the sensation of energy transmission, from a great universal energy source all around us, through the hands of the practitioner. This energy is passed to your body which uses it where it is needed the most in its own natural healing process.
Some people believe that there is a spiritual element involved in this healing processes. This is based on their own belief systems and does not mean that the people who share Reiki with them have to be of the same opinion.
With Reiki we are working with a universal energy source that flows around us all. The same is true of those who study Reiki. the belief systems of the participants do not interfere with the the healing or learning process.
